My PhD project explored how invasive non-native plants drive river geomorphic change by disrupting riverbank stability, augementing erosion and sediment dynamics. I used a combination of field data, piecewise strucutral equation modelling, lab experiments and landscape evolution modeling to reveal the impacts of plant invasions on riverbank processes.
